Rightier allows you to use a local SIM remotely to make and receive local calls from anywhere in the world.

What is an Edge?

A small device in which you insert a local SIM. Your application then uses this SIM to make and receive local calls.

Edge & operation

How does the Edge work?

The Edge bridges the Internet and the local mobile network. Your application uses the SIM inserted in the Edge to make and receive local calls.

Does the Edge work without Internet?

The Edge requires Internet. The recipient only needs the local mobile network.

Can the Edge work in rural areas?

Yes, thanks to the Edge Radio 4G/5G high‑sensitivity model designed for difficult environments.

Can the Edge handle multiple calls?

Yes, depending on the model (Dongle or Radio).

Local SIM & compatibility

A local SIM costs less than €1 (no subscription) in most countries.

In which countries does Rightier work?

In any country where a local SIM can be purchased and inserted into an Edge.

Are prepaid SIMs compatible?

Yes. Prepaid or postpaid, all local SIMs work.

Does the recipient need Internet?

No. They receive a classic local call, like any normal call.

How are international numbers handled?

Rightier automatically normalizes numbers (+261, +33, etc.) and uses your local SIM to call as a local number.

Calls & roaming

Does Rightier replace roaming?

Yes, for local calls and SMS. You call at local rates from anywhere in the world.

Is there a per‑minute cost?

No. You use your own local SIM, with the rates of the chosen country.

Are calls reliable?

Yes. Local calls are more reliable than international calls, especially in unstable or rural areas.

Is it legal to use Rightier?

Yes. Rightier uses your own SIM card in its country of origin, without altering its behavior or bypassing telecom regulations. It works exactly as if your phone were physically located in that country.

Companies, NGOs & individuals

Can I use Rightier for my company?

Yes. Rightier is used by companies, NGOs and individuals to obtain a local number in a specific country.

Does Rightier sell call minutes?

No. You use your own local SIM, with the rates of the chosen country.

Cloud subscription & security

Is there a subscription?

Yes. The Rightier Cloud subscription provides supervision, updates, security and remote access to your Edge.

What happens if Internet goes down?

The Edge may operate in degraded mode depending on configuration. Some local calls may remain available through your SIM.
